“Laurels TV will be the most important milestone in the history of Laurels International School and blessed are those children who have access to such an advanced video recording facility. The TV initiative will boost their confidence and help them to become excellent communicators ,” Mrs Sangeeta Sahai Asthana, Assistant General Manager of the State Bank of India, said after inaugurating the school’s TV studio.

Students will record, edit and produce weekly television programmes by presenting news, conducting interviews and recording events happening around them in the school and the city. The programmes will be shown on projector screens in the classrooms and uploaded on the school’s website www.laurelsinternationalschool.com and on other social media sites. The school will explore the possibility of broadcasting the programmes in the neighbouring areas by seeking permission from respective government agencies.
