Laurels International School, Prayagraaj (Allahabad), is committed to provide international-standard education to children. The school, affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi believes that education should be fun for students and they should not take it as a burden.
Laurels policy is no school bags until class III, no home work as it assigns extra hours during school time to finish work and no private tuition as it takes care of educational needs of less-able students or those returning from long holidays. With the motto “Beyond Excellence,” it works hard for students’ educational, emotional and personality development.

Our Story – A Vision for Beyond Excellence
In 2013, Dr. Arun Prakash, a renowned educationist and National Award-winning leader, embarked on a journey to redefine schooling in India. Having worked as a Founder-Principal and Director of some of the most prestigious schools in India and abroad, he envisioned a school that would prioritize students’ happiness, holistic learning, and academic excellence over commercial interests.
With a firm belief that education should be led by educators, a conscious decision was made not to involve business investors. Instead, the school was established under the Navyarchi Educational Society, a non-profit entity dedicated solely to educational advancement. Dr. Prakash personally financed the school, selling assets and securing bank loans to ensure the school remained independent, student-focused, and free from profit-driven motives.
On April 22, 2013, Laurels International School opened its doors with just 20 students on a five-acre campus, built from the ground up with a vision of joyful learning, minimal homework, and no reliance on private coaching. Over the years, the school grew steadily, gaining CBSE affiliation and expanding from Nursery to Grade XII, offering Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams.
Guided by Dr. Arun Prakash’s vast global experience and under the aegis of Laurels Global, UK, the school integrates India’s educational ethos with the best global practices.
